These planters are produced of so-called Cortensteel, which has the characteristic trait to fit the whole surface of the planter in a few weeks from a rust layer. After a period of 6 to 8 weeks this process is completed and the planter will no longer oxidize. Carefully! In the first weeks the planter can give rust blemish.
